Need some advice, is it a good idea to switch careers? I have always wanted to go into the diving feild since i was in the navy and now i have the chance. Does it pay good?

depends on what you are wanting to do. As far as a diving guide I would think it could pay well but most likely not unless you get good tips. If you are interested in rescue diving I would imagine that would pay very well.

Been there done that,
Pay is fine in the navy (outside just use it for rec)
The oppuritinity dont always happen i say jump on it advance yourself always try new things if they are open for you and you can experiance more than others.
I have 12 years and was 5 different Rates.
