Yes a classic. If you don't have the bucks for a Gibson you can get an Epiphone Les Paul basically same thing but made in Korea with cheaper parts.

One of the best I hear. All my guitar friends freaked when I got an old les paul as a fix up job, and I had no idea what they were talking about but apparently they're one of the best that there is. That is unless your tastes differ.

I Highly recomend it Fenders and Gibson are the best guitar brands on the market. (Even Cheap Ones)

I own one...but I don't know how to play it.
It's a pretty nice guitar though.
