The Beatles. They pioneered so much for rock and roll and so many other types of music. Statistically they are the best (most records, #1s, etc...). And there is just nothing more exciting and intense than BeatleMania. If you haven't heard of it then ask your parents; it was unbelievable. The fans were absolutley wild, it was all people were talking about, the only things on the radio were The Beatles. The magic John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr created when they played their music was unbelievable. Go buy the compliation "1" and listen to it. It's all 27 of the groups #1 hits; listen to it and I gaurentee you will love or at least appreciate the Beatles and see the magic they created.
