Not talking to you often verses not talking to you at all are completely different things! Why would you think she would suddenly hate you???? Your insecurities, need for reassurance, and jealousy of her new friends could end your friendship if you don't get it under control.

Old friendships can be like that. Does she hate you? Well, I really think the answer lies in what happened that you guys are not friends like you used to be. I have had several old friendships in my life, some of which have faded because our lives have gone different directions, but others because of.....I don't know why. These are often times unanswerable questions, because maybe that old friend won't share with you (ultimatey) why they didn't want to be real close friends anymore. So, to answer your question, I'd have to say, what do YOU think? Has she said anything?

Hate seems pretty strong. When it comes to chatting over the computer, you have to remember that everyone has their "real" lives to deal with somehow. Is this a friend that moved away? She probably has changed a little and life is moving for her as much as I am sure life is moving for you somehow. Don't jump to conclusions. Talk to your friend and ask her how much her life has changed since you last spoke so long ago. Good luck.

No, I think it has to do with being in person. Its really hard to maintain friendship in long distance. She doesnt hate you. How can she say much if you guys dont spend time together in person? I think it's time for you to start a new best friend. Everybody can have more than one best friends?

Try asking if anything is wrong..I just found my best friend that I havent seen for 15 years and we talk all the time...but latley her email come everyonce in awhile ( use to be everyday) I asked if I had done something and she said definalty not...she's just been so busy and was sorry for making me think that. If she is a real important friend, just try asking...good luck.

Hate is a strong word. She's your OLD BEST FRIEND for a reason. You're both in different places, and if she needs to chat, be there, otherwise don't bother.

no u guys just might have not seen each other in so long it is like u grew apart. u have to get to know each other again if u hope to have a good friendship. but that is what happens when we get older. vry few people remain good friends with some one from their childhood.
