My two big toes are a bit yellow-ish pale in color, and hurt extremely when I apply any sort of pressure on them. I can't go to the doctor, because I don't have the money right now. I can't find a clinic. Just give me some other ideas please. What could this be? Could it mean my running shoes don't fit right? Or maybe something else? And how do I help it heal?

Thanks.

They can indeed.
I once thought my big toe was broken, I went to my doctor and after 3 x-rays it was determined that was a bad bruise.
It was extremely painfull for almost 2 weeks.
Hurt like he!!.

BTW, did you have any trauma to the toes?

Yes - toes can bruise.

Have you changed your shoes recently? Did you cut your toe nails too short and create an ingrowing toenail?

Try Neosporin or similar to apply to the nail itself. Arnica to the surrounding area may help bring out the bruising and swelling - available from most healthfood stores or pharmacies.

How are your toenails. If they are ingrown they can hurt quite a bit too!.Any pressure on top of foot will hurt if you have that problem.
