proactive works well

I swear by Proactive. Had BAD adult acne and a friend told me about proactive. After 1 week, my skin Improved big time.. and after 2-3 weeks had PERFECLTY clear skin!! Ive used it for 8 yrs now and very rarely have breakouts. If I do.. it usually happens because I have slacked off by not using it everyday. But.. it always works great when I use it properly. You should definately try it.. You will be so happy with the results .. and you WILL have clear skin all the time.... I promise :)

The other item I SWEAR by is Clearasil Daily Acne Controll (get the tinted stuff, it just seems to work better) They used to call it "Adult Care" but they changed it for some reason. If you use this generously after proactive at night (I mean GOB it on) :) it will speed up the healing time by at least a week. When I do break out and Gob it on my face before bed, I see a difference within a day or two and usually clear again after 3 days.

Hope this helps and you try it out. Let me know if you do and it does.. :)

Best wishes & good luck with modeling... (I am a photographer so I know how important skin is for models)
Take it easy..

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Acne Associated with Dairy Intake

A new Harvard study links dairy products to adolescent acne. A group of 47,000 women from the Nurses’ Health Study was asked to provide information about several aspects of their diet during high school as well as any incidence of physician-diagnosed severe teenage acne. Researchers noted a positive association with total milk and skim milk consumption, along with instant breakfast drinks, sherbet, cottage cheese, and cream cheese. No association was found with several other foods often thought to affect acne, including soda, french fries, chocolate candy, and pizza. The scientists postulate that hormones and bioactive ingredients found in milk may be responsible.

Have you checked with a dermatologist? My son had quite bad acne on his face and back and our doctor gave him a gel called Differin. Worked like a charm. She also gave him an antibiotic acne cream that helped also. I found it even worked for me and I have quite sensitive skin. In the meantime try a good acne facial wash. I prefer the Neutrogena line. They have a really good acne wash. Use no more than twice a day or you may end up breaking out more. If you need to wash more often, try something like Cetaphil (not the one for oily skin). It isn't as strong and won't strip your skin. I have rosacea also and use this as my daily cleanser. I use Neutrogena for my monthly breakouts.

I have heard that Proactive works really well, or soap and water. Also don't forget to take off your make-up every night that is one of the biggest reasons why people get acne. Oh and I almost forgot if you ever need any help or advice with anything you can always contact me at : mz.oohlahlah@yahoo.com. Good luck!!! :)

Proactive

Proactive, Nivea, AcneFree, just about anything will work if you use it on a daily basis and continue using it even after your skin clears up. If you find that none of these things work, ask your doctor to prescribe you something that will help clear up your skin, and also ask what are the best ways to keeping your skin smooth, moisturized, and healthy.

I use the OCM (oil cleansing method) with great success! And I've tried a lot of different crap. This method is not only great for your skin but it's also a nice, relaxing way to take a few minutes for yourself while letting the oil steam the gunk off your skin.

toothpaste on it dries it out
alcohol does the same

oatmeal and water dries out the oil on your skin

cucumbers get rid of puffy eyes from crying or staying up all nite

baking soda or hydrogen peroxide on an unused toothbrush with water for white teeth

basil and warm water for toothache
and clear fingernail polish "brush the tooth"

and thats all i can think of right off

oh yeah wash your hair in vinegar or beer once a week for that "tv quality" shine:)
