Because here takes the boredom away. It also takes your mind off things that are troubling you to. It's fun and entertain. And sometimes it makes you happy just to be able to get a chance to help someone.

I think it's because if you search through all the chaff, you can find some really good kernels. Knowledge, thought provoking questions, things you haven't thought about before, different ways of viewing things.
I have no one really to talk to except my 11 year old grandson, and I'm about Yu-Gi-Oh'd and Lord of the Rings'd out. lol.
I really, really find some of the questions and answers to be great. Some of the askers should be imprisoned or sent back to school (lol), but I think most people have a good attitude about the whole thing.

You never know what you will find here, so there's variety (the spice of life). It's interactive. There's a reward system (the points which actually are pointless). It uses follow-up by sending you emails when you are selected as the best answer.
And you actually have a chance to help people, if you give real advice and informational answers.

I love coming here to answer questions, and to see what people are thinking about. It's a pleasant social interaction.

i find it fun and exciting i do it anytime i dont have to be bored. i like to think i may be able to help someone so when mines chosen best answer it makes my day.

it is fun knowing how other peoples lives are. it makes you think I don't have it that bad compared to some of the injustices that some people suffer.
