by no skill list an merchandise for only the minimum you're keen to settle for. convinced, if the widely used public sale closes for ninety 9¢, you need to deliver it at the same time as the customer will pay. in case you want to keep away from that, cancel the widely used public sale (you'd be charged costs for canceling an public sale with bids) and relist it with the hollow bid set on the minimum you're keen to settle for. and purchase a e book about promoting on eBay to techniques to optimize your listings for searches and entice shoppers even besides the undeniable fact that you're a newbie. Being a clean broking service is a huge impediment on eBay.

Yep.. sometimes you take a chance when you list things and they don't end up doing as well as you expected.. that's the chance you take selling on ebay... I've made more than I've lost.. but, I have lost on some items....

Funny you should ask... I did not lose any money but did sell some of my things that I had and had no further use for.. I sold them,,,, yes,.... but did not get rich over it. I think people who tell you they made a fortune on Ebay are "pulling your leg"

Actual cash...no..but have had problems with both buyers and sellers. One buyer flaked and though I later sold the item, I got less money. A seller misrepresented something I bought but I got them to refund 2/3 of the money (and I kept the item).
If you use paypal, you have pretty good protection if your stuff doesn't arrive.

Depends on what you mean. I have owned stock in the company on two separate occassions and lost big time. I currently own stock in both Yahoo and Google. I won't say which one is a big loser in the last year because my answer might not be accepted by the reviewers. :)
