The diagnosis of a gastrointestinal ulcer can be made by an Upper GI Radiology Series (x-rays of your stomach) or by an invasive endoscopy (a thin flexible tube inserted through the mouth which inspects the stomach with a lens.)

If you think you may have an ulcer, be sure to contact a Gastroenterologist. It should not be ignored!
