Fencing as in swordfighting....I asked this because i would like to know how many people here hate it or not....I love it though!<3

i do Foil at the local sports plex... I am in the Advanced class.

Fencing is a great sport. It takes a great deal of self control of both body and mind. It can be physically tough in competitions and much less so in practice. If you live on the east or west coast areas, you can generally find local fencing clubs. In my many years of fencing, I have met some great people who fence.
A good web site is the USFA, which is our national organization (see link below) where you will find a list of clubs throughout the U.S.. You may find some items of interest on my web site (also listed below).

I love fencing, although I haven't had much of a chance to indulge my interest for the last few years (children cut into your free time).
I was mostly into foil.

I love fencing. I used to do Sabre, but I now do foil. It's great!!!!!
Fencing is the best.

I tried it in college as part of a PE clase, and it was a lot of fun. I just didnt have the skill or time to go any farther with it. I was amazed at how much of it was mental - trying to know what your opponent would do and how to counter it before you even start.
