I have just recently found the website, and am trying to break into modeling. I would like to know if it is legitimate.

Yes the site is VERY legitimate, I have worked with 2 models from the site. Like with everything else on line there is some apparent risk, so just be careful who you contact or contacts you for work.

Always use a chaperon on shoots. (Large burly guy preferable, unless you have worked with the photographer before) Always make sure you are asked to sign a release form. And contact other models He/She has worked with before and list on their profiles. They can tell you if the person was professional or a creep.

Good luck.

While I haven't used them, I follow alternative photography. Almost every model that doesn't have her/his own website links to their OMP account. Hope that helps a bit!

Dunno about that, but, I DO know that I've known some models who almost DIED because of the profession. THEY ARE WAY too pressured to GET SKINNY, and I mean like UNHEALTHY skinny. One of those gals ALMOST DIED, because she had STARVED herself for SO LONG! SHE was admitted to a psychological Hospital for about two MONTHS to get her back eating normal!!
