Because all the feminists would jump on our backs and say that it's unfair. They would say that it's already a male dominated society and that it needs to be more female oriented. OK so let's look at this one tiny example. What has feminism gotten us? It's gotten us mail person rather than mailman. Chairperson rather than chairman. It's killed chivalry, which I try and pride myself on and it's skewed the judicial system in favor for women. Anytime there is a domestic abuse case or rape case, the courts could give two s***s about what the man has to say. I know countless girls who use that knowledge to their advantage to get back at their boyfriends or husbands. That is extortion of the law and that is just plain wrong. Women talk about equality? OK, so if we do have a draft the first time I hear any woman complain about having to go I'm gonna lose it. They want it to be equal in everything in America yet I have heard many a girl say that they would dodge the draft so that they don't have to go. Now I don't want anybody to think that I'm an abusive, misogynistic, chauvinist. I'm realist who has just taken in his observation of his experiences and retold them here. Masculinism will be squashed the first time it is brought up. Now I know that there are short comings as far as the overall equality between the sexes especially as far as the business world goes. It will just take time and things will eventually even out. It's not going to be a quick fix. It will take a few decades still, but it's on its way.

Haha! When I was in elementary school, 1 kid asked why there wasn't a "white history month," knowing that February is black history month. The teacher said that every month is white history month. The point of this story is I would say that the prevailing attitude in the US and many other parts of the world is "masculinism," so there would be no need for a special movement or attitude.

Dark Syder has the right idea. Men have ALWAYS been in power and control. Especially white, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant men. If you fall in any one of those categories (and you do), you have had masculinism all of your life, you just haven't realized it yet. Women STILL aren't equal to men, and it is something that is worked upon daily. With this new information I hope that now you realize that you already have masculinism

I thought that that's what the world has been about even before women had the right to vote. Men made all the rules women had to simply follow. What's the problem, don't like the taste of equality?

Because society is presumptively male dominated. We still make more money than our female counterparts. Also, it's like asking "Why don't we have White History Month" because that's everyday for White People!

Males are too lazy to advocate masculinism. They'd rather watch tv.

Because we already have masculinity instead.
