im only 15 so i dont want to take birth control pills.... is there any other way

yeah i saw some kind of pill on tv that u can take, i thinks over the counter but i cant remember wut its called.its supposed to lighten and shorten it to 3 days i believe.and dont take asprin bc that makes u bleed more.

Birth control really works to lighten your period. Trust me I've been off the pill for 2 yrs and I can really tell a difference. Why are you afaid of BC? It may be an easy way to talk your parent into taking you to the Dr and being safe in the long run.(If you plan on having sex before marriage)

The only thing I know of is birth control and u don't wanna do that,try excersizing and drinking plenty of water while on your period and midol helps me,and I think that's about it,mabey ask your doctor there might be some pill u can take,I don't know,good luck and I know your pain periods suck!my friends last for 8-9 days mine r like 4-5 I couldn't last any longer!

Birth Control pills, It has a tendency for most to regulate it and from some shorten it, as for lighten i haven't the foggist idea. Ask your doctor

Tampons, pamprin, and midol make it a little better. Birth Control sometimes lightens it and even makes you have it less often =) Good Luck

There is actually a pill that you can take that should give you shorter lighter Periods.I am not sure but Watch T.V there is a couple commercials that involve that particular question.

the dep.-Prevera shot took my era away completely. Mine were particularly heavy and painful so it became kinda effective yet i finished cuz it did not experience particularly organic no longer having it. even if it did take it away. You reported no pills yet they do lighten it up and make it a lot less painful.

Hey it aint easy being a girl. All i can say is "tampons aren't that bad, and you don't have as musch trouble." but it wont lighten your period. sorry babe.
