It should be illegal to charge money for channels that show commercials and put their logos on the screen during shows. I had free cable for a while when I moved into an apartment and the guy who lived there before didn't cancel his subscription. Even then I could never find anything good on it to watch. I didn't shed a tear the day they turned it off.
If the REAL MTV ever comes back, then maybe I'll feel differently.

This befell to me when I moved into my new apt. The cable agency oftentimes forgets to close down the cable so there's a cache in cable provider you receives for loose until eventually the previous purchasers month is up.

I believe if your house has a cable box already on the outside, where it hooks in there is a metal tube on the existing cable. Someone once told me if you remove that, you will get cable into the house. Good luck, and I will disavow all knowledge if it works and you get caught.

Steal it. Just don't get caught by the cable company OR your neighbor. No I don't do this but I've heard some people do. I live too far out in the boonies to even ATTEMPT to get cable.

I hope you don't get it illegally because thats the only way, but than again, with all the high cable prices, people do steal cable. but if you do steal cable, be prepared to get in trouble because someone will report you
