There is not a serious debate going on in here. so know one should take someones answers serious, where as to get offended by their answers to your question even though you might think it was a serious question. Like you said their are youngster in here but you also have adults as aged as you giving bad answers too. So lets all just live, laugh, and learn.

It's important for you to remain. That's why this site is in beta - so that the answers team can iron out the kinks. I like the idea of there being answers site for adults, and another for children under 18.
I will submit the idea to the answers team because I agree that men with a wealth of experience such as yourself are going to be the key to this site's success, and Yahoo will be foolish to lose you and others like you.

I'm a 'youngster', but age isn't a determinant of intelligence, especially considering I know many old imbeciles, so I would ask why do morons answer questions that they don't know the answers to?

Yes it has.I have been on here since Jan. of this year. The age group then wasn't near as young as it is now. Most of the older ones have left. They have tried to get Yahoo to start a more mature site. But I guess they figure the kids would infiltrate that also. The age really dropped when Dateline did their shows about my space. So I guess the parents get them to Yahoo because it is safer.Yahoo must love it.The user figures are really up I bet.

Yeah, I heard that. It is hard to get advice in here without having someone try to throw some weak putdown out there. Hecklers. and bad hecklers at that. Wouldn't last one second in any comedy club. There are some intelligent folks in here but they certainly aren't a dime a dozen.

Sir, I would urge you to only take what the young people say with a grain of salt. You were young once, surely thought as insolent and impertinent by your elders. Try to show the patience you wish they had. Send out good, and good will come back to you.

They should have some sort of credit card check to verify age.
Same thing goes for the IMDb message boards. Total unmoderated chaos there.

I'm 28 and I agree with you. 'What should I do with my hair?' and 'Is it ok to paint my car blue?' are not valid ?s for this site. As to the airheads, just ignore them, they're the pop-up ads of this forum, irritating and unavoidable.
