No wise cracks. This isn't the only way people judge others, but I'm curious as to what you would have to say. As far as appearance is concerned, what kind of body type do you prefer and why?

I prefer someone cheerful. I've met physically attractive women that had a lousy attitude and know that I'd rather be with someone pleasant any day over that crap!
Assuming they have a pleasant attitude, I would prefer someone that is intelligent. I don't mind if someone is able to be critical, but what I am really looking for is someone that can brainstorm more solutions with me than just grumble. Again, I have met physically attractive women that even had positive attitudes that really just ended up being a bore. Or, spun the other direction, I have also dated a woman that was quite brilliant, but rarely had much else than negative things to say about her life and others. Can you imagine how much fun that was? I really did a lot of self inquiry after that as to why I bothered with her at all. Maybe I thought I could save her or some other foolish macho notion.
Anyhow, physique is important as it tends to indicate on a superficial level that the woman cares about herself. On the other hand, she could be a negative-minded bore.
So I suppose you could say I am looking for "the total package," but I have been sorry to learn that it is in short supply and expect that if I were to need to marry in a hurry that I would have to "settle" for something less than what I want. But I am a balding short hairy guy, so what do you expect? There isn't much mercy out there for guys like us, so I either lose or spend more energy into being financially successful than would make me available for dating...
Lately, I have simply lost interest. Nothing is attractive to me because I have always been asked to sell myself short of what I want. That repeated experience really put a damper on my motivation to work out and compete. It's like I've been relegated to the communist version of dating economics - where everybody gets the same boring angry hairlipped babushka. I'd rather stay single and read books.

Athletic body types and curvy. I like to have a partner who takes care of their physical appearance/health and has nice curves also.
