I live near Philadelphia and am a Phillies fan, and man are the fans brutal. They put a bad rap on fans like me who are warm and welcoming to other fans that come to the park. As for your question, I've heard on ESPN many times, and read that St.Louis has the friendliest fans in the MLB. It's supposed to be extremely welcoming when you go to their ballpark.

LMAO.....i cant beleive people actually answered yankees, braves and cubs fans. while there are of course "friendly" fans of those teams, yankee fans at the stadium are generally acknowledged as some of the most obnoxious fans in the game. braves fans often are not much better and only pay attention when someone starts that obnoxious tomahawk chop chant(which they stole from florida st.) and cubs fan?.....ever hear of the bleacher bums?......LOL
although i am not a cardinals fan, their fans are generally well known to be amongst the most knoweldgeable and even tempered in the game.

Jerry Trupiano, one of the Red Sox radio announcers, has said that the St. Louis Cardinal fans are fanatic for their Cardinals but don't boo the opposing players. They'd probably be eaten alive in NY, Phila, Oakland, SF or Boston.

Cubs fans all the way! Just go to Wrigley Field and see how warm and friendly everybody is! It's one of my most favorite places on the planet. I have fond memories of going there on the bus with my girlfriends when we were in high school and if you went on a Friday they had Ladies' Day and girls got in free! Even for a double-header! Of course, the team sucked, but the players were all cute! Thanks for the memories!

I'd like to think we Astro fans are friendly - we root for the "good guys," after all.
I'm also familiar with the claim that Cardinals fans are very friendly and classy. From what I've seen and heard, I'd believe it.

And to let you know who to stay away from, because I have been to these teams home ball parks and their fans are rude & cude!!
1. Phillies
2.. Red Sox
3. Tigers
4. Blue Jays
5. Twins
Just a little helpful advise...stay away from those cities and fans, trust me...just trust me...I will never go back to any of their ball parks again!!!
