I did just last week. The elastic band in my last pair of underwear finally broke. My mom's to poor to buy me new ones and the thrift store doesn't wash theirs before they sell them anyway. Next month when I turn 36, I told mom I'm gonna get some money for us some how. I'll try and find her a second job if that's what it takes, cause I'm tired of crying my eyes out.

I knew a lady once that did in fact cry her eyes out, it was a shocking thing to see, I still have nightmares about the entire ordeal. It is not humorous but not as bad as having to watch the guy running around trying to catch his breath,

Well, yes, if "eyes" refers to their eyeballs, crying their eyeballs out of their head would hurt, though thankfully I think it's pretty much impossible. "Crying one's eyes out" probably refers to crying one's eyes out of tears, i.e. crying them dry or crying their tear ducts empty. I'm not sure that's possible either, but it would take an awful lot of crying to approach that condition.

What really hurts is putting them back in...takes a lot of eye ointment and Visine.

not literaly but I cried so much when my mom was going to give away my cats. It was very sad because I had grown up with them
