I couldn't finish the movie cause there was an infant with the family that got stranded in the desert.
I want to watch it, but I don't want to see a baby eaten my a bunch of mutants. I have a 14 month old and it just wouldn't settle well with me.
Does anything bad happpen to the baby, is my question.

No! nothing bad happens. in the UNRATED version, they point the gun at the baby. At the end, the father gets the baby. I loved that movie. bought the unrated DVD.

They rescue the baby. Nothing bad occurs to the baby.
The baby is used in the movie to elicit just exactly the reaction that it did to you; to cause you to view the mutants as less than human; diabolical enough to harm that which we hold sacred. Honestly, one of the DUMBEST movies I have ever seen. I suggest you watch the Exorcism of Emily Rose; very scary - dependent upon your belief system.

i saw it in theaters and i have a 2 year old sis. it was very hard for me to want to watch the rest of the movie but i did. i wont ruin it for u but i will tell u that nothing bad happens to the baby.

Sadly, this movie was too lame for me to finish it. Too predicitable, but the baby is fine. I wouldn't bother watching the rest of it anyway though.

no nothing happens to the baby. but i will tell u that i recently just saw the unrated version it was ok between one to ten i would say a 7.

its ok.......the baby is fine, gets scary w the baby, but she ends up ok.....not as good as i thought.
