All raccoons are nocturnal and omnivorous, eating berries, insects, eggs and small animals. Raccoons sometimes wash, or douse, their food in water before eating it.

I'm sure they'd prefer a flat iron, medium rare, angus steak and Maine lobster with drawn butter, along with a chilled '79 white Bordeaux wine, but failing that, they will eat just about anything, and I mean anything, that is, or has been, alive in the last year or so. They are definitely NOT picky eaters, however their table manners are an atrocity to behold by anyone's standards. Fortunately though, they prefer most of their dining by pale moonlight. I think what bothers me most is, if you invite one, it never fails that they bring the whole fam damily. They do make right nice caps though, if you can talk one out of it's skin.

Raccoons are omnivorous which means they eat just about everything...including but not limited to grapes, nuts, berries, pawpaw, and black cherry; grubs, grasshoppers, and crickets, voles, deer mice, squirrels and other small mammals and bird eggs and nestlings. Also frogs, crayfish, sunflower seeds, corn from farmers fields and in the city they eat any garbage around and dog food cat food etc.....There is one that comes and empties my bird feeder when he wants but he didnt eat an apple I put out for him so I guess they dont like those. Other than that they eat anything they like and if they are starving they eat anything they dont like too.

As omnivores, they eat just about anything they can find. I live in the suburbs and find them eating nuts, berries, trash, cake, fruit, insects, the list is a long one.

I think they eat anything they can. In wild eat fruit & bugs. In cities, raid rubbish.

raccoons are omnivorous, meaning they eat most things that people do, that is why they are found in parks crawling into trash cans to find any scraps left. this is not good though because though it tastes good to them people food as we know it is not always good for them. other words if you want to feed any, think of what is really good for you then give some to them.
