I know ministers and such can, but getting license takes a while for that. Isn't there some online method or some cheesy way to do it but legally?

Getting your license only takes a matter of hours - at least in California & Nevada. You show up. You fill out some forms. You show ID. The person types it in and prints it up. You then give it to your officiant and he signs it (with two witnesses) and sends it in. I think you are confused about something. . .

let me see, if you want a marriage licence in the state of TN,
you take your fee into the court house pay the fee and walk out with the licence.

If you want to save some money on it, you take a pre marriage couseling class and your license is about 1/2 price.

a miniter can not get your marriage licence for you, you have to get it, you give it to the minister who signs it and sends it back to the court house.

You can not get one online, they have to be done in person at the court houe ( or city hall or where ever your state issues them at)

It only takes 5 minutes at a clerks office, though in Nevada you can do it 24/7?

go to town hall with the money in hand...and your other half, so they can sign, and take the oath...
and if you're lucky, you wont have to take the blood tests...i know i didn't have to in ct...
