The main thing is because they are playing on there home turf and they have allot of support by being home. Also it takes more than just a star to win the world cup. This is when every team comes out and plays it's best or tries to play it's best. That's why every world cup there are always some upsets on the best teams losing against some of the OK teams. But put it this way, Every team that is in the World Cup is a good team, or they would have not made it there. These teams are made up of the best of the best players from that country.

If you are asking why a team has no popular players, maybe you should watch soccer all the time and not become a

Thats a person who never watches soccer but every 4 years they become know it alls.

I think it's because we don't so much watch the Bundesliga (German League) ... I think most of their players play in Germany.
We're all familiar with the Premier League (England) and Italian League, maybe a bit more of Spanish League than the Bundesliga.
THat's why we're more familiar with players in the English, Italian and Spanish league, but not so familiar with players in the German league.

Because football is not only about having great players.It is more about team work and so far the Germans are playing as a team.

they can win because of there team work... dere a real true team... brazil on the other hand hve individuals dat are reali good ... and de most popular ones are de ones hu score.. I agree with the above. Ballack, Pudolski, and Klose are pretty popular and are GREAT scorers.
