The Yahoo! Phone In service is only available for Windows based machines using Yahoo! Messenger 7.5 or Yahoo! Messenger beta 8.0.
However, Yahoo! just launched Yahoo! Messenger for Mac 3.0 Beta 1. This has a new look and feel for OS X (version 10.3.9 or later). The new features include Avatars, sounds, and display images. This version also offers the ability to use webcam, transfer files to other Yahoo! Messenger users, and you can still express your feelings with emoticons. To download, just go to http://messenger.yahoo.com/mac.php and click the ‘Get it Now’ button.
