Not with your age.Menopause represents the end of menstruation, and you are still so young to think of it. I still think that it is good to check with the doctor from the begining to have a normal period.
Irregular period might indicate a future problem, and the best thing is to check it out from the begining.

I had this same problem when I was your age. It seemed like my period never ended. The doctors did some blood work and an ultrasound but in the end they put me on birth control pills. This fixed all of my problems. You really need to talk to your mom or your doctor about this so they can help you. This is not an uncommon problem and its a fairly easy fix. Good Luck!

Given your age it seems like you're body is trying to grow into it's hormones. If it continues to be a problem, you should talk to your parents (mom or another trusted female) about going to a gynocologist. Often times, simply going on a birth control pill will help regulate your hormones and get your periods on a more regular schedule.

when a girl gets her period it could take up to 5 or more years to have a regular cycle. so its normal....but if you really think theres something wrong with you, its best if you see a Dr. or a Gyno Dr.
