Well, considering my life lately, I'd rate it a 6. I'm getting divorced, got 2 new jobs, and going to college. There's always some problem or another happening. But the secret is taking one thing at a time and dealing with it.

It's said to see that anyone would use a 10 to answer this since in reality life can always be "worse". So ten should always be reserved for when it's "worse". And since it can always be "worse" then we would never be able to use 10 as a description of our problems.

However, in the west how can we rate our personal problems very high in most cases when we do not live in a war ravaged desease and poverty raveged dictatorship of any kind.

problems.....wellllll....
for me, personally...they are not problems, they are challenges...
to be worked out, and overcome, with the end result being...i always learn something new.. i don't view my "problems" or challenges as a negative....they are simply waiting for a solution...
i ask myself...."self...how can we be part of the solution.....?what is my part in this?"

—Isocrates
i guess i take the optimist side of a challenge, because, ...
at 40, i have noticed that every "problem" has had the end result of, wisdom. Wisdom to avoid the problem the next time, wisdom to prevent the problem, wisdom to recognize the problem sooner, wisdom to apply my solution to a different problem, or even the wisdom to share my problem/solution with some-else..to help them along their path...

1, I have problems like everybody else but compared to others it is as if I don't have any problems at all. People are dying constantly and the ones who don't live through so much pain. Sometimes I hate the world just because I have it so easy while others have it so hard. It makes me feel guilty...
