Well you can try putting cooking oil on the rails and see if that helps. My guess depending on where you are the house has settled and might need to be re-leveled or maybe some new cabinets installed. try the oil first though. A light coat on a paper towel and rub on the rails and edges of the drawer and the inside where the drawer rides.
Good Luck!!

Dear Sticky Drawers, If these are old fashioned wood drawers that slide on a wood track then take each drawer out and rub all tracking surfaces with bar soap. Do the same with the track inside the cabinet. After all, we all want clean drawers in case of an emergency!

pull the drawers completly out , rub the bottem of the drawer, the part that rubs with an old candle or a bar of soap , both of these items help, the candle lasting longer.

We had this problem once, too. If you rub a candle or some parafin wax along the runners of the drawer it will help them slide much smoother. It works for windows, too.

Hi, If you have an old house then you have some hidden house guests also I'll bet.
Because of that possibility, stick to the paraffin/soap cures and stay away from the cooking oil/butter food type cures of you may get to meet the secret house guests if indeed you have them!

It could be water damage or just old wood. pull the drawers out and inspect them for any abnormal areas of ware, it should be easy to spot and then sand them down until they slide easily.

Try using a bar of soap where the guide or wood makes contact. Rub it all the way from front to back on both sides.

Well, if they work by those tiny wheels I would buy new ones. But if you want to save money I'm sure butter would work, lol. But if its wood sliding you might want to redo the drawers.

Hi.
They are probably worn on the bottom,if you can take them out rub hard soap on the areas that appear to be worn or rubbing. This should improve there functioning.
