Actually, this is not quite correct. There is something more advance being researched and discussed: ferroelectric RAM, a revolutionary new type of chips that can hold 12TB or something like that in the space of one of the silicon chips of today's RAM. Google ferro-electric ram and see what pops up.

the most adavanced memory being talked about is xd-ram..
n you also get ddr2 1066mhz n ddr2 1250mhz is comin up..n theres also ddr3 n GDDR 3 which is basically used in video cards
