enough. The question should be how many licks does it take to get of my childrens hands, and how much stain remover does it take to get out of clothing.lol p.s. Sean get that sucker out of your sisters hair.lol

Depends on if you truly lick it or suck on it like most people do. I think it takes about 37 minutes to an hour if you suck on it. Let's estimate both methods and say it takes 37 minutes on the average. At 60 licks a minute, 37 times 60 is 2,220 minimum.

I know. I've done this, a few years ago. It took me 15,798 licks.
My tongue almost fell off but then I remembered I had another Tootsie Pop in my pocket.

I saw it on TV and some scientists researched by using a machine. One scientific team concluded that it took about 350 licks, and another concluded that it took more than 510.

My friend did an experiment for one of her classes, it took from 400 to 1200 licks, mine was 477 and 775 i think
