I have been told by many people that myspace.com is a very
(dirty)web site and i was wondering if it is that bad becous I have been thinking of joining and havent for fear of (weirdos)should I join?

Like anything else on the net- use with caution...& stay safe.
There's NO REASON to reveal personal info to people you don't know well- in person I mean......not people you only know and talk to online.
If someone asks you something on the computer, that makes you feel uncomfortable-ask them "WHY DO YOU ASK" before you answer them. That should give you an idea if they are well intentioned people your talking to.

Myspace is perfectly safe to me
However, DON'T post information about yourself on your page (like your phone number of address)
But you would know better than to that right?
It's safer to only accept adds or add people that you know in real life. Or if they look and seem safe then it would be fine. A couple times, webcam porn stars have sent me messages or some people asking if i wanted a friend with benefits or if i wanted to meet them and get 5000 bucks. I just ignore those messages and don't reply back.
If you still don't feel comfortable letting everyone see your page, change your age to 14 or 15 and then you'll get the option of making your site private so only your friends on myspace can see it :)

Myspace is NOT bad.
It will only be bad if you make it that way..
(If your a 16 yr old girl meeting some 40 yr old from kansas or something)
Otherwise it's a fun site to keep in touch with friends and what not.

I had a myspace once I didn't experience too many problems and I didn't post any personal informaion but I still had a few creepy people...its okay if you only use it to keep in contact with people you know but if its open to the public its open to anyone...

well what i did was i stuck to becoming friends with people i know in real life . it isnt as bad as people think it is, and if u stick to only being friends with people that u actually know personally then u shouldnt have a problem with weirdo's

its not that bad i love it as long as you dont have naughty pics you dont have to worry about weirdo's and the reason ppl think its bad is because lil girls would be dumb and tell guys there address and stuff and meet up and end up getting kipnapped because they lied here age

its not that bad if you like lie about like age and where you live and be careful with the pictures and who youy accept as your friends.
