Well, since I've been out of college 11+ years, "summer vacation" doesn't apply to me. *sigh* I work from home as a freelance writer/editor/photographer, and that's what I expect to continue with. (I'm grateful my townhouse has air conditioning!!) However, since the freelance work is too irregular to live on, I'm also getting a part-time job in customer service at a retail store.
However, that doesn't mean I won't have fun! :) I've already done things like play miniature golf and attend some outdoor festivals. Later this week, I'm going to the beach, which I hope to visit a few more times before summer's up. I also plan to fly my kite, go hiking and maybe camping, and hold and/or attend some parties. OH, and go swimming in the large pool in my townhouse complex. :) I'll only be working part-time, so I'll still have time for fun as well.

Well, I don't really ever get a vacation. But I will be spending my summer at home..... just like all my other summers. Maybe I will get to go to Six Flags this year. Might hit the zoo or botanical garden in St. Louis.
