I mean really, I see them insulting each other all the time. Democrats hate Bush, Republicans hate Kerry. Why are people so sensitive about politics? My political viewpoint is a very strong one, (but I won't say what it is) but that doesn't make me hate the other party. So I must ask - why are Democrats and Republicans always at war? The nation is split down the middle, in a way...

I'm not just talking about politicians. I've seen plenty of regular people throwing insults around.

I have noticed this too. I don't understand why things have grown so polarized. I have a strong political persuasion as well (which I will not disclose) and I hate to see my favorite party insulting the other party. It makes them look stupid. I think that there needs to be a 3rd, more moderate party thrown into the mix to get these two sides to get along.

Democrats have self belief in censorship, (Political Correctness) the position they could defame any opponent through tediously taking something out context. Democrats are the final public of the rationalization why debates not in any respect bypass previous an eighth grade factor. Dems count number on the more youthful who comprehend no longer something about the real global, operating a agency, and making ends meet. Democrats are rapidly to blame for corporations and bigger effective paying jobs being taken foreign places. bare the brunt of the blame for making united states an quite detrimental position to commence a agency compared to different advanced international locations. Do bunch of chicken ****, willy-nilly, rah rah campaigns for minorities, and Gays and not in any respect concentration on what can particularly help the rustic as an total. instead of coming from the attitude of what electorate must have... Citzens vs coverage makers... Democrats worship their "Liberal" coverage makers and believe them to provide their healthcare, how a lot funds they ought to earn (probable for doing no longer something), imagine that through elevating taxes that the authorities will really do something sturdy with the money or spend it effectively

I don't think republicans and democrats hate each other. They always seem to be getting married to each other. I am a democrat and my first husband was a republican. My current boyfriend is a republican. I think the reason they fight all the time is because they can. It's more interesting to disagree than to agree.

For the professional politicians, it's impossible to 'shock' them. They basically pretend to be offended by an 'opposite' point of view, but deep down they may even wish that they thought of the idea first. But as people say... 'that's just politics'.
As for the more novice politically inclined, - they do have fervent believes about politics, and will argue to wee hours of the morning about their position.
Politics is the application of theoretical doctrines about who we are and how we treat (and not treat) our fellow men. It comes down to how we view the nature of man, and the responsibilities we think we may have to others, now and in the future.

People usually argue against something they dont
understand. It isn't that they hate each other. One party
just has strong feelings about something and the other
does not! So they argue! Kind of like sibling rivalry!
Me and my younger brother for instance! We are totally
the opposite of each other. Same thing with political
partys! I argue with my brother a lot but I dont hate him!

Every time I have tried to be "nice" and actually discuss anything wit the Democrats, I have been insulted and lied to or ignored. They can't refuse to consider any point as valid but their own. It's difficult to just "take it" when you know they aren't telling the whole truth or when you're called something nasty just because you try to discuss or debate something.

You can always turn off the old boob-tube.
Don't let anyone make up your mind for you, but its fun to watch the warring parties.....reminds me of the "Tea Party" in Boston !

They only pretend to hate each other. Most of them are really good friends with each other out of sight of the media and the rest of us. "Birds of a feather..."

Its all for show...It is just like professional wrestlers. They fight and then go out for drinks immediately after. Politicians are playing you. They know you aren't smart enough to figure it out. After all voters elected them on their acting ability.
