How do you know that he still loves his ex? If you know this for sure, then you should be asking the question why do you still stay??? Also, how long as it been since the divorce and how long were they married...not to mention do they have children together??? If he hasn't given himself alone and healing time before entering another relationship....he won't be ready for another. I would say the NO SEX is a dead giveaway that he is not ready or into the relationship with you.

If he has expressed that he still loves his ex, then he stays
because it is easier than leaving or he doesn't want to hurt
your feelings.
You have to make that call.
If he has told you he still loves his ex, and you rarely have sex,
that is probably because he still wants her and you would be
someone he considers more of a friend than a lover.

Better question is why the hell are you staying with someone that loves someone else?
You need more self respect, more self worth. Dump him and find someone that wants to be with you, not their ex.
