What is the difference between cheek stain and blush? Is cheek stain annoying to use? Does it stay on for a longer time than regular blush?

Cheek stain is a liquid or gel blush. Some good liquid blushes are BeneTint and Vincent Longo Lip and Cheek Gel Stain. These are meant, obviously, for both cheeks and lips. The liquid ones will settle into large pores or fine lines and can be a bit tricky to blend, but they are great if you have smooth skin, are going for a natural look and don't want to worry about matching your blush & lip color.

As far as gel blush, Tarte makes an awesome cheek stain, it is a solid gel in a push up stick. Very, very easy to use...you can dab it directly on your cheeks or with your fingers. It lasts well and looks very natural whether worn on bare skin or over foundation. It claims to give you a "from within" glow and it truly does!

i think cheek stain is a lot like lip stain. lip stain gives your lips the affect like you've just had a cherry popcicle or something. doesnt make you looke like you have on lip stick. so i would guess that cheek stain looks more like your natural blush. i would guess that it is giving your skin the affect that youre natually blushing. just guessing i dont know.

Benetint at Sephora counters in their store. It is a liquid based on natural flowers or beet that is blended so that you use just a little bit and it stays there for a long time looking very natural.

You can use it for lips too its really lovely! try it you wont get dissapointed, but rehearse first for it might be tricky at first to apply it right. on the cheeks. plus Benetint smells so lovely like roses...

Stains are usually a liquid & sometimes harder to equally distribute on the skin, depending upon your expertise. They do tend to last longer however.
