Here's the problem. The horoscopes we're all familiar with actually originated with the Babylonian Empire. And was based on which constellation was on the horizon and something to do with the sun when you were born. However, since that time the stars in the night sky have shifted. So now what used to be Scorpio, is now most likely Sagittarius.
People who take this stuff seriously are reading the wrong horoscopes.

I didn't (didn't being the opperative word) until recently. It's always correct. Sometimes it just freaks me out, but it is not just me. Thousands among thousands of people around the globe who understand the oddity that is the horoscope.....in explaining things a/b us that only we know as individuals. My life is not predictable in the least bit, but the damn horoscopes I read won't take a breather & say different. I will read a/b a situation in which I took part in a day ago....& be amazed.Read Sylvia Brown's book on Astrological signs & their affect on society's mentality. She provides insight by enabling you to view individual evaluation of persons under a given sign.Trust me, you'll have fun with it.....& your friends, family,& acquaintances will too.

I believe in astrology. But, I have studied astrology for 11 years and know that it is quite a bit more than those columns in the newspaper. Since I am familiar with it, I know better than to read horoscopes that are based on sun sign only since they are more than likely not accurate and do not take other factors into account. I calculate my own cycles by drawing my own horoscope chart and compare it to the current positions of the plants, and the aspects made to my natal planets, that are unique to my chart. I am aware that their are a lot of fakes in the world and do not use Internet sites except to use their software to calculate charts. After that I make my own interpretations based on my knowledge. If I need more details that are above my level of knowledge I consult a real astrologer that is AFA certified and I check their credentials prior to selecting one.

They are real in the sense that they exist. But to base your life on them is utterly nonsense. Horoscopes are so vague that you can read anything into them. Nobody has been able to provide me with any proof that the way the stars were lined up when I was born have anything to do with my personality. It just doesn't make sense.
Much like Nostradamus. His "predictions" were so vague that you can read anything into them. That is proved by the fact that he didn't predict anything. Everything anyone has said he predicted has been something from history applied to one of his stanzas well after the fact.
It's all just something made so vague that it lets people believe in it. And we all need something to believe in. I just think you pick something a little more logical.

It seems I answer this once a week. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but not only are horoscopes completely bunk, your NOT even the zodiac sign you think you are. Here's why--
Astrology is not only bogus, it's one of the few facets of mysticism which can be PROOVED false ....
http://skepdic.com/astrolgy.html...
A person is said to inherent traits of the sign in which the sun rose on his birthday. Because of the "Precession of the equinoxes", the sun no longer rises in the constellations it did when the Zodiac attributes were invented. So, you're not even the sign you think you are. Anyone who is Leo, for example, who claims the horoscope for Leo ALWAYS matches his life-- inform him-- he's NOT Leo.
Sorry.

okay i beleive that stupid corporations has turned something mystical and spiritual like horoscopes and fortune telling, and turned it into a money pit. i believe that some people do have a gift and others are either unconvinced that its true because they're egotistical enough to wonder why wouldn't they get it or some do beleive but rather exploit the false. its like the media's hype on celeberities we read the scandals and believe they're all bad but really they're not. they just write about the ones that are.

Horoscopes generalize greatly. If you read yours...you can usually fit it into a small aspect of your life.

Horoscopes are fake. It is just the people who believe in them subconsciously do whatever they can to try to make it come true.
