Yeah my favorite Tom Hanks movie is Apollo 13, followed by Bachelor Party, Big, A League of Their Own, Forrest Gump, etc.... last on the list, Joe vs. the Volcano.

Tom Hanks is a great actor. I've picked four movies that show the broad scope of his talent: Saving Private Ryan is serious and shows his interaction with other good actors; Forrest Gump show how he plays a unusual character; Castaway is all Tom and shows the depth of his ability; The Terminal where he plays a foreigner stuck in an airport terminal and how he stays so calm.

How can I pick one favorite? It's a ridiculous request! I buy every Tom Hanks movie I see, and he's the only person I do that with. His earliest stuff (Big & Splash) is AMAZING, but the newer movies (Saving Private Ryan & The Green Mile) are...well... in A League of Their Own

He is such a great actor and has been in so many films I not sure watch would be my first choice..There is the ones with Meg Ryan Sleepless and You've got mail. When I am depressed I watch them over and over then you have the educational with Apollo 13 and and the heart wrenching Philadelphia, The classic Big & Forrest Gump. It's just to hard to decide.

My favorite Tom Hanks movie is sleepless in seattle. After that he just became very boring, even making the same film a couple of times. Castaway was really bad, don't get me started on that one.
