It all depends on her tastes. I know when I was dating my husband he would do small sweet things to show that he had been thinking of me..
Once while driving past an open field on a farm I saw all these wildflowers and said how I loved wildflowers much more than roses. A few weeks later I was having a bad week and he stopped at that farm asked the farmer if he could pick some of the wildflowers for me. To me it showed that he was really listening to what I was saying.
I guess Basically Plan an evening all about her Cook her favorite meal, have her favorite dessert, watch her Favorite movie,

I agree with Melissa C. My husband & I are together 10 years and on our anniversary we were broke because I had just gone back to school. he took construction paper and cut out hearts and on each one he figured out how many years, months, days and hours for each milestone we had passed (meeting, proposal, wedding, daughter's birth, etc.) . While I love all the jewlery he's gotten me over the years, not to mention chocolate covered cherries (yum!). This simple sentimental thing I will have for the rest of my life. It is by far my most loved gift. I look at them every day.

Most girls really love getting flowers. Or a personal note in a card. We want to know we are ON YOUR MIND.....

well anything from the sears tool department is much appreciated. However if you really want to curl her toes, try a four sided power planer, or a band saw.
She will melt when she powers it up for the first time.
