If I wake up in the middle of the night and she's asleep, when I snuggle up against her, she ALWAYS reaches her little feet back and pets me with them, just a sweet caress on my ankle and instep. Her breathing never changes; she doesn't wake up to do this. It's just the sweetest thing, somehow, to feel that she loves me so much she plays footsie with me in her sleep.
That's #1 out of about 47 million things, mind you (intelligence, patience, sense of humor, child-rearing ability, and let's not forget breathing control)... but it's the dearest to me.

The fact that she has never tried to change me. She accepted me for me at face value, and has not asked for me to change any of my habits (fishing, hunting, boozing with the boys, etc.).
