What interests me about Disneyworld is the History of the proggresion in Disney World over the years and also all the things that are there

Check out Modern Marvels on the History Channel and you will see what interests me about Disney World. I grew up 20 minutes from Disney and watched it grow over the years into a magnificent educational and entertaining family destination. Walt's dreams are what interest me. His concepts were years ahead of the times and the tradition still lives on.
Watch the 2 hr (Modern Marvels) special -it all interests me. In 1971 I visited the trailer before the park opened in Orlando. They had a glass encased model of the magic kingdom on display and I remember my mother buying me a small saw dust stuffed mickey mouse at the construction trailer . Damn I wish I still had that thing- it would be worth some money today.

I also went to Epcot the day before it opened because my friend's brother worked construction there and all the employees and their families got to enjoy the park the day before it opened- I think it was 1982??. That was very cool.

I also remember how the park closed one night to the general public and all the local middle and high school kids were invited to the Mad Hatters Ball. that was fun.

The women and girls in my family all went there every super bowl Sunday because not too many people were there at the park when the game was on. My mother would make food for the guys and we would take off to a nearly empty park and enjoy the day. I love football and the superbowl now so that would not work for me now.

As a kid the tunnels underground also interested me bedcause I was amazed that there was a whole other disney world underground. My family members who worked there in their teens took me underground several times to see the operations- very impressive

The question is what doesn't interest me about Disney which is nothing! Disney World is a great place to go on vacation and SOOO much fun! Most people grew up going to Disney and is a tradition and brings memories that are worth repeating. That's what started me with Disney. Now I just find Disney so much fun and the history and philosophy behind it makes it uncomparable to any other place.

Everything... from the story of how Walt visioned it, and how his brother took over the completion of the park after his death, to every park attraction, new, old, and no longer.

I love that it's an entire resort, and I could never get bored or sick of it. I always go for more than a week and still wish I could stay. It's the number one vacation destination in the world.

I love that I don't have to be a child or have children to have an amazing time there. Everything about Walt Disney World is incredible...

What really interests me is how the Walt Disney Company manages to get me to spend thousands of dollars on vacations to WDW, even though I know I can't really afford it, and I'm alright with it. lol It's crazy. ($9,000+ for my trip this August.)

Disney World is so exciting... there is SO much to see. The rides are fantastic, of course, but what's even better is the atmosphere, and the cleanliness. It is SO clean. They don't sell gum there and you never see anything on the ground, no chewed up gum, nothing. The rides are spectacular, and my favorites are Tower Of Terror, Mission Space, and Test Track. Don't get me wrong, I like many of the rides, but these were 3 of my faves. A don't miss show is the Carousel of Progress, and also make sure you see "Fantasmic." Don't miss out on the 50's Prime Time Cafe, where the server will tell you to "sit down" or "get back in your seat" or "eat your meatloaf" in an old fashioned, happy days style eatery. Very cute and lots and lots of themed attractions to see. Make sure you go at least 5 days!

There are many things amazing in Disney World upon your first visit. After many visits the thing that amazes me the most is how they do what they do. The way they move people so quickly through lines for rides, how the rides themselves are made, how they manage to get so many people out of the park at closing time, how the characters manage to run around in those costumes in the hot ummer Florida heat.and goes on and on

Everything, shopping, parks, food, all of it in Disney. What's not to like. Even the characters. It's a get away from the stresses of life. Makes you forget all about your worries and your cares. You can feel like a kid and no one will laugh at you. It's a stress reliever.

Every single ride and park, Downtown Disney, the waterparks, the dining, the characters, the nighttime spectaculars, the parades, and the magic that exists there!
