ugh! The dreaded human-computer analogy. Surely the computer model of the "mind" trumpeted by the cognitive psychologists must be dead by now! Our brains are not machines, they do not hold mega bytes, etc.

I don't think anyone is able to find this out yet. If they can they aren't talking about it. Maybe because the same techniques can be used to take complete control of peoples minds, which could be controversial but would give some people a lot of power.
