The entir ething is a scam. They petition to protest in a town or city, when they are denied, or run out, their lawyers sue the city, settling for no less than $250,000 per city. They never have to run it to court, because they will win a discrimination suit, so the cities pay up. Bigger towns and cities have been hit up for over 1 million dollars. It is estimated that their frivolous lawsuits have brought in over $74 million dollars. There are only 80 people in the church, and they split the money. It has cost taxpayers in excess of $150 million so far in litigation, attorney fees and settlements.

Those people are not baptist. They are crazy. I am baptist and I am appalled at what they say and do. What they do is well within their rights to do as Americans yet they do not embrace the christian belief of love your neighbor. We Baptist are given a hard road about the crazy wing of the house. But don't judge all of us by what the media shows. The Southern Baptist spent millions of dollars on hurricane relief and never once blamed it on homosexuality. My church alone supports drug abuse victims and never puts them down for it we want to see them change their lives. So don't jump on the hate evangelical christian to fast learn the facts.

Y'know, I was just reading an article about the flag burning amendment, and I saw where Roscoe Bartlett (Maryland) proposed a ban on protests at military funerals.
Well, hell's bells, why not propose a ban on protests at ALL funerals or memorial services?
Because, like Fred Phelps, these clowns don't give a flying you-know-what about gay people. But they only get upset with Phelps when he picks on dead soldiers, not brutal hate crime victims like Matthew Shepard.
Those bastards.

I find that most born-again Christians,, especially Baptists,, believe that people choose their sexual preferences,,, except the president of course,,, he could choose to rule America and they would anoint him,,, but wait,,, he already has,, king George, the saint of conservatism,,, he and the Ann-tichrist Coulter are the new faces of CHRISTIANITY.

yes... I think they are taking a note from a lost piece of scripture called "Jesus hates fags"... it was originally after Mark in the new testament...
From chapter 2, verse 21 of Jesus hates fags... "and lo a f*g walketh by Jesus, and Jesus did smite him down with his mighty hand. Then Jesus tooketh his underwear and giveth the homosexual a holy wedge to depart the evil spirts from him. And Jesus said "Lo, if you do not stoppeth from smoking the poll, the Lord God shall cast you into the fiery pit of Hell. And my father and I hate fags."
see it's all in the Bible...
