He is innocent until proven guilty, and his wife was the one to bail him out, so who knows what's going on there.

He should keep playing until he is (IF he is) declared guilty. It would be horrible (and pretty un-American) to kill the guys career on an allegation. If he is found guilty, he should be banned; he would be a felon, and a pretty big dirtbag as well.

The phillies are so bad, it doesn't matter what they do with him or anybody else.
The question should be: what should we do with the Philadelphia Phillies. They are the ones whom let him pitch and tried to sweep it under the rug,
There are some good answers here.

He committed a crime and should be kicked off the team. How horrible is it that he was 'rewarded' by throwing the first pitch!!! If Pete Rose was 'exiled' from baseball for gambling, then Myers should be tossed (preferably immediately) for violence.

I think that they should get the biggest player, maybe Ryan Howard, beat and slap the crap out of that guy in front of Veteran's Stadium (sorry don't know the name of the new, beautiful park--AMeriquest? Citizen's Bank?). While he's doing it, ask Myers if he likes the way that b***ch slap felt.

Suspend him with pay until the charges brought against him have been proved by a jury trial. If guilty, then they should dismiss him. Remember, though, he is innocent until proved guilty. He has not yet had his day in court.
