To convert weight from UK to US:
a) if initial weight is in Stones and Pounds, multiply the stones by 14 and add the number of pounds e.g. 10 st 7 lbs equals (10x14) plus 7 = 147 pounds.
b) if initial weight is in Kilograms, multiply by 2.2 to get it in pounds:
e.g 55 kg = 55 x 2.2 = 121 pounds.

A stone is 14 pounds.
a Kilogram is 2.2 pounds.
If you have a weight in pounds, divide by 2.2 to get the equivilent weight in Kilograms. If you have a weight in stones, multiply by 14 before dividing by 2.2.

1 U.S. gallon = 0.83267 U.K. gallons
1 Dry pint (U.S.) = 0.96894 U.K. pints
1 Liquid pint (U.S.) = 0.83267 U.K. pints
1 Liquid oz (U.S.) = 1.04084 Fluid ounces (U.K.)
I'm presuming you're referring to these conversions, as the U.S. use the weight measurements as us (except they PREFER to use Pounds, and we use Pounds and kilos equally happily)
So:
1 pound = 0.45359 kilos
1 kilo = 0.15747 stones
