Okay.....the bangs are good. Depending on how professional you want to look, here are some suggestions:

a few highlights (subtle!)
layers around the face (to soften and frame the face)
just above shoulder length would be adorable on you.

and as far as makeup:
Less is more.
Always keep it simple. Eyeliner ( if any at all) should be worn on top and 2/3 way across the bottom...smudged and subtle.
Mascara (one coat) brown/blackbrown
natural lipstick NO GLOSS
peachy blush applied just to the apples of the cheeks
powder....I dont know if you really need foundation...your skin looked pretty clear in the pic!

Good luck!!

I would put highlights in ur hair to make urself look younger and more vibrant. Preferably a blondish brown. Try to shampoo and condition ur hair with something that will give it volume, in order to make ur hair less dull and limp. For your makeup, try using that revlon lipstick that draws moisture from the outside in, so ur lips look more full. Get a foundation that goes with ur skin tone, that is natural, does not look fake and looks good on you. You want to look professional so do not overdo the makeup no matter what. That will just make u look like u have a mask on. Use some lengthening mascara to help open up ur eyes more, that will make u look like a more honest person. Looks are not everything but they are a part of getting hired. People want to see people that like themselves enough to want to take care of themselves.

Use colors (eyeshadow) that will make your eyes pop - for green eyes use plums and other greens, blue eyes use denim blues and coffee browns, for brown eyes use lavendars and other browns, and for hazel eyes use pinks and toffee colors.
I suggest using Almay Intense i-Color, it works soooo well! They have liner, mascara and eye shadow for each type of eye color. I swear by this brand, because it just does it's job so darn well! Don't use heavy make up, some people think it enhances, but you want to keep it as simple as possible. Pick up a nice perfume (I use Goddess by Baby Phat). Lots of new professional type haircuts are medium length, wispy/spiked with gel with highlights. Pulling your hair back into a ponytail, and leaving some bangs out is also a very conservative look.

for make-up i would buy a base and coverup powders usually tend to do less clogging of the pores and neutral colors you seem very light complected so i would use natural looking pinks on the cheek bones just for a little color. Some eyeliner for the eyes since you dont have strong eyes just to push them out a little more. and a natural color tone for the lips with a gloss. nothing dramatic. simply done.

as for your hair i would leave the length and and just do a color natural wih a lilttle highlight is a classic look not overdoing it but some curlers and a strightener a couple of clips and yhour good to go.

Let your stylist decide for you. They can see you in person and are trained to have an eye for those details. Like is your face square, round, long, short, much like people who work in clothing stores can guess sizes and tell what works for you, a good hairstylist knows the same for your hair, trust them. They aren't in the business of making you look bad.

Natural makeup and hair tied back for work, this is definitely the most professional looking.

I would recommend some very light highlights, and let it grow longer!
