oh my god my friend sooooo tottally wants to know this.....is it normal to get your period the first day of the month have it for five days but THEN get it again on the last week of that SAME MONTH!?!?!?!??! i told her i would ask so please leave answers!!!!!!!!!

Sure it is, usually periods arrive every 28 days, so it can differ by a few days.

Yes this is normal stress can cause your cycle to be abnormal are she can have ovarian cysts. She needs to go see a obgyn doc. They can put her on a contraceptive that may help there are alot of things they can do to help her. I had alot of problems like that and eventually had to have a hysterectomy but that was after having 3 children and also getting kicked in the abdomen at work by a drunk. Tell her to go to the OBGYN and get some much needed relief....

it could just be that her period runs from the last week of the month till the frist of the month. is normal for some girls to have that with their periods. so she shouldnt really worry about it but if she is tell her maybe she should talk to a doctor about it.

No it is not normal....I used to do that and had awful cramps until I went to the Dr. and got regulated by birth control pills. Tell your friend she needs to see the gyno and get a RX for the pill...she will feel alot better!!! Good Luck!!

if she's young, then yes, it might be normal b/c your body takes a while to get itself into a normal cycle. Your cycle should occur about every 28 days...

yes, cuz u usually hav periods like that at the beginning, i have my p. at the beginning every two weeks, but now i'm down to every thirty five days
