THAT IS NOT A GENUINE INTEL, IT'S AN INTEL CLONE manufactured by AMD (i.e INTEL 8088 compatible) using a license granted to them by INTEL ( hence the © INTEL or copyright of INTEL , copyrighted in 1978). Sorry for shouting it.

In 1982 AMD signed a contract with Intel so that AMD could become a second manufacturer of 8088 microprocessors, because IBM need to have two manufacturers of the chip, or something like that.

AMD's history is documented at wikipedia including their early attempts to clone INTEL microprocessors. check out the 1982 80286.
