I was in Orlando last year and stumbled across the city of Celebration. It looked like it came straight out of a 1950's movie. Do people actually live in that city? Are the homes/condos/apts expensive? What kind of people live there? I saw that it was predominantly Caucasion people there but I may be wrong.

It was made for people with money, not Disney Employees, but is owned by Disney. It looks like Stepford. My family and I joke about it when we drive by it.

Celebration is actually created by Disney. It is a beautiful town that people actually do live, work, and play in and the homes are expensive. Condo's start in the $200s, home are in the range of $330s to 1 million, and apartments are around $700 and up. I don't know what kind of people that live there besides lucky because I would love to live there.

Planned as a self sufficient entity, the town has been meticulously laid out to offer its own schools, parks, hospital, and commercial development area. I'm sure it has attracted many like-minded people who were looking for a good place to resettle.
