David Vickers and Spencer Truman are brothers......but why don't they have the same last name?

i watch faithfully everyday and it is because David changed his name long ago for scam purposes

I think Spencer is Asa's son. I haven't watched the soap for a while because I'm working when it's on. I last saw when Todd finally saw Margaret alive. I'm sure things have changed since then but that's what I did think about Spencer.

because there was a mix up in the birth certificates during WW1.
David was born to a southern african american and spencer was a white trash carpet bagger during the depression. now his mother. miss martha stewart was a bit loose in the caboose and started a brothel during the nixon era. by the way she knew nixon personally and never told a soul. so anyway spencer grew up to think he was adopted until miss stewart told him otherwise. now that blew sleepy hollow all to pieces. not even the ingals were talking to david at the time and he and spencer were in the same class un be knowced to jesabel the town hooker.
So to make a long story short.
Spencer and david ended up getting the same lady pregnant and moving to UTAH and becoming mormon.

David changed his last name so noone can find out who he is.Spencer's last name would technically be Buchanon because he is Asa's.Fiancee told me
