yes, if you can prove that they are yours. You will need to find an attorney that specializes in copyrights. This can be very expensive to do. If you registered the copyright, and win, then your legal expenses would be covered. If you haven't registered, then you will need to, but your protection is a bit less (no legal fees covered). How much you can sue them for is dependent on many things, like if they made money off from it. In a case like this it could cost you more in legal fees than you could collect from the infringer.

Yes. If they agreed to pay you for the work, they have to pay you or it's theft. Those photos are your property until they pay for them.

Sue? Hell yeah. You can get your fee as well as a percent of any income they made using the photo(s). You can also recoop court costs. Not to mention you will tarnish their professional reputation. That alone will be worth a lot to them.

It depends on if you signed a contract with them. If you did, then you have to look at the contract under if you were highered as an independent contractor or something else. If you were highered as an independent contractor, they highered you for that specific job and the pictures are theirs. If you were highered under different specifications, you might have a case. You should probably see a lawyer if you want your money. Also if there was no contract, then you might also have a case. You have to prove you took them, with negatives or something. You only have copy right laws on your side if you copy right your pictures before releasing them.
