5 month ago 1 of my friends told me that there is a guy in their family who want to be my bf ,a few days later we went out together and now we r friends but last week he sked me that there is a big problam: that my friend hasnt told me that Im elder than him ,about 1year,and now I dont know what to do......

i here this all the time "im older than he is" and it doesnt matter. if u like him then who cares. i was in a situation like this before, i was dating this guy named ryan and he tolled me that he was born in octorber which is a month younger than i am. well when we were dating one of his friends told me that he was born in june of the next year so i was like 6 months older than him. but yall are different he is open to telling u unlike how ryan was with me, just talk to him and tell him how u feel, if he really likes u it wont matter

what? I think what you are trying to say is that this guy that you went out with and seem to like does not want to be with you because you are a year older than him..... If thats not what you meant, stop reading. I would say talk to him about the age difference. Unless you are 18 and he is 17 it is not an issue... and still isnt much of an issue with so little of a difference between you. One year will not make or break a relationship... unless he is uncomfortable with being the younger one it should not matter. Just talk to him about it.

I don't clearly understand the problem but i'll try and answer what i can. They probably is no problem unless your relationship is physical. If he is under 16, and you are over 16, kissing and sexual contact is techincally illegal. While not many women have been prosecuted on these charges. And there has to be a complaining witness. No not any problem this is! may be he has found another friend and wants to leave you, otherwise, to be 1 year older is not a matter but just a pretext.

not at all, there are alot of couples who are at least one year older than the other. come to think of it most couples i know are about 1 1/2 yrs apart at the very least. Its up to you if you want to make a mountain out of a hill.

if you like him who cares it's only 1 year. there is a 12 year difference between me and my husband. I also dated guys as much as 10 years younger.

My husband's a year and a half younger than me. Two years behind me in school. Think he graduated college before me, but we both took many many years to do that.

i agree w/ her, it really only matters how much u like him. it doesnt matter what everybody else thinks. i mean honestly, do u really care? i mean about him that is. but dont stress about it. if u like him stay w/ him if u dont then dont stay with him. its that easy :) hope that helped answer ur question
