I've just recently uploaded a new website (personal artwork/gallery) @

http://www.thedaveidentity.co.uk

I've just stuck my homepage into this analyzer:

http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/

and it basically said no way! not a chance! craps keys / tags etc ..

Is this for really? do i need to reconsider my keywords? and it says i have no description, but i do!

help?

Try register your website with search engines and see how it works, it may not really matter what submitexpress says, if you know its on there then and they say its not try somewhere else, they could just be trying to sell you some service that you really dont need. :)

You may want to consider your keywords.

Search engines have a set of rules for the relevance of keywords to stop you putting the most popular search word in your meta tag when it has nothing to do with your site.

This means that the search engine will weight your keywords based on the number of times that keyword is used on your web pages. The usage must be displayed text and not graphic text!
Mouse over text is valid but javascript or vbscript is not valid.

Also, you need to make sure your keywords are used in the body of the text on that page. It looks like most of them are there, but if you list keywords in your meta field and they cannot be found on the web page you will get "negative points" from most search engines.

If you are looking for more niche keywords to use on your site try: http://www.instantkeywordresearch.com

it works fine you've gave it both a description and keywords; search engines reference the keywords and descriptions are listed by the side of your web address on search engines...

You do have a description, but your meta tag is not placed correctly; you have:

It should be placed in the tags.
